Sparky’s healing is going pretty well. Just today he was able to hop up the back step to come into the house. He didn’t want to wait for me to put the sling under his chest. In terms of going outside, he wants to jump down the step but I’m not ready for him to do that yet; seems like it would be way too jarring. On the down side, he’s not eating much so I’ve stopped giving him the Carprofen -75mg as it says to stop administering if he’s not eating. Still on the antibiotic though.

I agree, take it slow on those stairs, there will be plenty of time to jump when you’re totally healed. As for the Rimadyl….yeah, I’m glad your folks are keeping an eye on that, NSAIDs side effects can creep up on you.
